Youth Empowerment Services

Youth Empowerment Services! (YES!) is a new initiative in New Britain, Connecticut that provides the highest-quality, evidence-based reproductive health education to teens and families.

Funded by the Office of Population Affairs, YES! is administered by Partners in Social Research in partnership with Klingberg Family Centers, the Family Enrichment Center at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, and the Consolidated School District of New Britain.

These partners work together with teens, families, teachers, mental health providers, after school providers, healthcare professionals, and other youth-serving professionals to provide educational programs that:

  • share useful and accurate health information,
  • offer loads of fun,
  • educate on disease prevention, and
  • promote communication, self-esteem, healthy relationships, and overall well-being.
