Child and Adolescent Trauma Services (CATS)

Child abuse takes a toll on children and families. This program responds with immediate, flexible, and appropriate clinical services.

The people we serve:

  • Children and adolescents (ages 4-17) who are victims of physical or sexual abuse, or witness to domestic violence.
  • The families of such children.
  • Community referrals are accepted.

How the program works:

  • All services are voluntary and free of charge to victims and their families. The CATS program is funded through a grant from the Office of Victims Services.
  • The program is staffed by experienced mental health professionals with specialized clinical training.
  • The program utilizes a Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) model, whenever possible.
  • Services include, but are not limited to, individual, group, and/or family therapy, personal advocacy, justice support, crisis counseling, follow-up, and parent support services.
  • Services are individualized and tailored to the needs of the family.

 Cómo funciona el programa:

Todos los servicios son voluntarios y gratuitos a víctimas y sus familias. El programa es financiado por una subvención de la Oficina de Servicios de Víctimas.

El programa está compuesto por experimentados profesionales de la salud mental con formación clínica especializada.

El programa utiliza un Trauma Enfoque terapia cognitivo-conductual (TCC-CT) modelo, siempre que sea posible.

Nuestros servicios incluyen, pero no están limitados a, individual, grupal y/o terapia familiar, defensa personal, apoyo de la justicia, consejería de crisis, seguimiento, y servicios de apoyo para padres.

Los servicios son personalizados y adaptados a las necesidades de la familia.

COVID-19 SafeguardsKlingberg Family Centers

As COVID-19 continues to spread through our country and region, a number of safeguards have been put into place to protect our clients and families, staff, visitors, and surrounding communities. In addition to increased cleaning efforts, hand sanitizer, and distribution of information, we are taking the following steps to prevent the spread of the virus.

  • The Raymond Hill School will be closed at least until April 20.
  • The Extended Day Treatment Program is also closed.
  • Our group homes are closed to visitors in order to protect the welfare of our clients.
  • The Nexus Professional Development Center, Tilcon Center, and RHS auditorium have been closed for use by outside groups effective immediately.
